Increases Mesmerize’s Healthy Living Network by Over 70%
NEW YORK, NY–(Marketwired – May 15, 2017) – Mesmerize Marketing, an established leader in patient education at the point of care (POC) since 2006, today announced that it has acquired Elite Sampling & Media Group’s national network of doctors’ office wallboards. This move dramatically alters the landscape of media opportunities at the point of care and elevates Mesmerize into the position as the largest provider of static media in high prescribing physicians’ offices. With the addition of Elite’s 5,000 wallboards, Mesmerize Marketing’s Healthy Living Wallboard Network will see its geographic footprint increase to over 12,000 wallboards reaching over 50,000 physicians nationwide.
For over a decade, Mesmerize has provided targeted educational materials including wallboards, literature distribution and branded medical essentials to patients and care givers in waiting rooms, exam rooms, and other high traffic areas of doctors’ offices, dental offices, community-based organizations, AIDS service organizations and independent pharmacies. The Healthy Living Network includes English, Spanish and Chinese editorial content in specialty practices including diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, women’s health, pediatrics, mental health, cardiology, oncology and infectious disease. In addition, Mesmerize will now be able to provide greater reach for their mobile technologies such as WiFi, geofencing and NFC beacons installed in their existing networks.
Mesmerize founder and CEO Gregory Leibert said, “We are proud to announce the acquisition of Elite’s wallboard network. Our continued investment in point of care media significantly expands our ability to reach and educate patients in an environment where they are empowered to communicate with their care providers about disease specific conditions. We are excited to increase our scale to be able to provide our clients with access to thousands of more high-prescribing physicians and millions of more patients. Static media remains vital to the point of care landscape.”
Nick DeBellis, President of Elite Sampling and Media Group, LLC said, “Over the past year Elite and Mesmerize have collaborated on several successful wallboard campaigns. That joint venture lead us to see the strength in the size of a combined wallboard network. Therefore, we decided to leave our wallboard clients in excellent hands with Mesmerize. We know that static media at the point of care has an important role in the patient education process and we will continue to work with Mesmerize as their wallboard business thrives. Elite’s future will focus on our prosperous CPG sampling and promotions business.”
Mr. Leibert cited Kantar Media’s MARS Consumer Health Study illustrating that 76.3% of patients find static media at POC (i.e. wallboards and brochures) more valuable than in-office TV.
